Serving others is the heart of Jesus’ message to his followers. To be the church is to serve wholeheartedly. Jesus said in Matthew 20:28 that he came to serve not to be served. Here are a several opportunities we offer for people to volunteer their time and talents to serve others.

Connection Team

The Connection Team strives to create a friendly atmosphere as people arrive for Sunday services. There are several positions available that include: Front Door Greeters, Ushers, Cafe Baristas, Connection Center Attendants, and Lifebrook Kids Check-in Services. If you are interested in joining this team please fill out the form below.
  • Front Door Greeters… provide a proactive, genuine smile, sincere greeting, a friendly presence, and a fond farewell.
  • Ushers… initiate a warm greeting to the worship center, a friendly presence, offer clear directions to available seats, pass out worship folders, and assist with offerings.
  • Cafe Baristas… assist in preparing and serving coffee on Sunday mornings.
  • Connection Center Attendants… provide answers to questions and help guests take next steps.
  • Lifebrook Kids Check-in Services… provide a warm smile and a seamless experience for Sunday morning guests and help parents get their children into the Lifebrook Kids atmosphere.
 

Worship Arts Team

The worship arts team seeks to glorify God through all avenues of the arts. We empower people to use their gifts and talents to lead our church in worship services each week. If you are interested please fill out the form below.
  • Worship Band… empowers people to use their musical gifts both vocally and instrumentally. A worship team is typically scheduled once a month accompanied by a Thursday night practice.
  • Sound Engineers… are responsible for the set-up, monitoring, and adjustment of all worship center audio equipment. Their role is to support the band, speaker, and all on-stage personnel as they lead or communicate to the audience on Sunday.
  • Lighting Specialists… operate the equipment used to light both the stage and the auditorium on Sundays. They focus on illuminating properly, creating atmosphere, and focusing attention.
  • Computer Operators… prepare and operate the equipment necessary to display graphics, videos or characters needed to enhance the worship service (ie: worship lyrics, Bible verses, videos, countdowns, etc.). They focus on enhancing and delivering the worship and the message, creating visual appeal, focusing attention, and supporting the communicator.

Student Team

Our student ministry depends on adults who have a passion to work with teenagers. Our primary program meets on Wednesday evenings for 6-12 grade students. On Sunday morning we occasionally offer Life Groups for middle school students. If you are interested please fill out the form below.
  • Coaches… are small group leaders on Wednesday nights and build relationships with students throughout the week.
  • Life Group Leaders… open their homes twice each month for approximately 90 minutes for students to meet for discipleship and friendship.
  • Tutors… are small group leaders who may or may not also be Coaches. They meet with the Student program on Wednesday nights and offer educational assistance to our students.

Lifebrook Kids Team

Our Children’s Ministry depends on passionate people who want to make a difference in the lives of kids, newborn through 5th grade. We offer a wide range of volunteer positions to complement each individual’s personality, skills, and gifts.
  • Check-In Greeters… This team is the face of Lifebrook Kids. They greet families and kids who come to our ministry. These friendly faces gather information that is needed check our kids into the appropriate area. They have a working knowledge of how our security system works to make sure our children are kept safe. They also help with answering any questions that guests may have. This team is trained one-on-one, so they can feel comfortable welcoming new people to our church. 
  • Nursery Leaders… provide general care for newborns though 2 years old. (Rocking, holding, changing diapers.) They also have worship and a interactive Bible story time. We equip our leaders though routine training sessions though various venues as well as one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
  • Toddler Leaders… In this area we start to help establish relationships with Jesus and each other. We do this through purposeful play, worship, and interactive lesson time, as well as small group time to reinforce the day’s lesson. We equip our leaders though routine training sessions though various venues as well as one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
  • Lifebrook Kid Leaders… In this area we continue to establish relationships with Jesus and each other. We go a step deeper with our activities and lessons to prepare the kids for the elementary ministry. We do this through purposeful play, worship, and interactive lesson time as well as small group time to reinforce the day’s lesson. We equip our leaders though routine training sessions though various venues as well as one-on-one mentoring and coaching.
  • Lifebrook Kid Assistants… are members of our Lifebrook Student Ministry that want to help in our Lifebrook Kid ministry. They build relationships with our kids, helping to prepare them for Student Ministry.
  • Lifebrook Kids Alternates are amazing servants who prepare each week as if they are going to be a Lifebrook Kid Leader. They are ready to step into that role if any schedule conflict or problem arises.
