ABOUT US

Welcome to Lifebrook!

We are so thankful that you’ve found us and hope this website serves as a great first step to learning more about our local church and answering any questions you may have. As you look around our site and come to know our church, you will find that everything at Lifebrook is built upon one core value; creating disciples that live their lives as if Jesus Christ was living it for them. At Lifebrook, we strive to live such lives by embracing the four principles located below and, glorify God in all things. We certainly can’t claim to do these things perfectly, but through God’s grace, it is our desire. We want to welcome you to Lifebrook and encourage to join us soon!

DISCOVER

Our Sunday Morning atmosphere is one of love and acceptance, form the moment you step on campus. Our greeters will help you check in your children to Lifebrook Kids, find a good seat, and answer any questions you may have. You can visit the Café and grab a custom-made drink and sweet treat while you engage in community before service. Our worship service is Christ centered and relevant and relaxed. Four to six times a year we offer an Eat & Greet lunch following the service for those who are new to Lifebrook; to hear more about our mission and vision, meet the Lifebrook leadership, and ask questions. We want you to come and be our guest.

DISCIPLESHIP

We believe as followers of Jesus Christ that we should live “as though Jesus were living our lives for us”. We believe all followers of Jesus Christ should be regularly spending time with God in silence and prayer. Our staff, leadership team, and congregation are actively involved in one-on-one and small group discipleship. We offer Wednesday night IMPROV studies that read through scripture and cover other various topics throughout the year. On Sunday Morning we have Lifebrook Kids during service for ages nursery through fifth grade.

SERVE

You will discover many ways that you can get involved and serve. You can begin by taking a gifts assessment and then sit down with a staff member to discover how you can serve. We have a strong relationship with the community and take every opportunity we can to serve our community. From our Easter Fair partnership with the Rotary Club to our annual Chili Cook-Off, Free Kids Summer Lunch Program, Bethalto Homecoming, and more; you do not just attend Lifebrook, you become part of the ministry. We do not believe that the church is a building. We believe the church is people living and loving well.

MULTIPLY

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Lifebrook is not a social club that has selective membership. We do not define our success based on the size of our building, our budget, or the number of seats we fill. Our goal is to equip Spirit-filled ambassadors for Jesus Christ. No matter what your past looks like, “if you are in Christ, you are a new creation. The old has passed away and the new is now.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
